Thank you for your interest in joining the Stargazer Labradors family! We are excited to help you find the perfect puppy to welcome into your home. Here’s an overview of our process:
Reserving Your Puppy: At Stargazer Labradors, we only breed to fulfill our waiting list, which is why we require a non-refundable deposit of $100.00, along with the completed waiting list deposit form and puppy questionnaire. This ensures that each of our puppies finds the loving home they deserve. As our waiting list continues to grow, the order in which we receive your deposit (along with the form and questionnaire) will determine your placement in the selection process.
When We Have a Puppy for You: Once puppies are born, we will contact families on the waiting list in order. You can then choose to commit to purchasing a puppy from that specific litter or wait for the next one. If you choose to wait, your place on the list will remain secure however, you will be subject to the current policy, process, and cost at the time you commit. Please respond within 24 hours to confirm your reservation. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe, the puppy will be offered to the next family on the list. If the puppy is no longer available but you respond later, we will either offer you another puppy from the same litter (if available) or keep you at the top of the list for the next litter. A $400 non-refundable deposit is required when committing to a puppy to reserve your choice of gender and color.
Selection Process: Puppies can be visited at around six weeks of age when their personalities begin to shine. This is also when you’ll make your final selection, with our guidance, based on what we’ve learned about each puppy’s temperament. We will reach out to arrange a visit when the time comes.
Pickup Day: Puppies are ready to go to their forever homes at eight weeks old. Before this, they will receive a full veterinary exam, their first vaccine, a microchip, and a New Hampshire State Health Certificate. If needed, boarding is available with advanced notice for a fee.
What’s Included: Each puppy comes with prepaid AKC registration, prepaid AKC Reunite Microchip, prepaid AKC Reunite Lifetime registration, Pro Plan Puppy Chicken & Rice Kibble sample, Pro Plan information pack, Nuvet samples, a toy, a blanket with mom’s scent, used litter for potty training, a folder with additional resources and information, and access to free training videos through Baxter & Bella as well as a discount code to their full program. You’ll also be invited to our private Stargazer Labradors Family Facebook group for ongoing support.
Lifetime Support: We’re here for you throughout your puppy’s life, offering guidance and celebrating milestones. We cherish the relationships we build with our puppy families and are always available to help.
Stay Connected: We post regular updates, photos, and videos of the puppies on our Facebook page so you can share in their growth and excitement while you wait.
